Chemical plants handle media that standard valve trim can’t tolerate - corrosive, hazardous or otherwise aggressive fluids where the wrong seal or seat material fails quickly and unsafely.
We supply ball and butterfly valves in chemical-resistant trim, hazardous-area-rated actuation, and the direct-acting and diaphragm valves used for dosing, batch control and pressure relief.
Where these get used
| Application area | Typical duty |
|---|---|
| Corrosive media isolation | Ball and butterfly valves in chemical-resistant trim (PTFE, Viton) |
| Hazardous-area actuation | Actuators and solenoid valves selected for the area classification |
| Direct acting valves | Fast on-off switching for batch/dosing chemical processes |
| Vent & relief lines | Diaphragm and direct-acting valves for pressure relief duty |

Frequently asked
How do you select seal material for a corrosive-media valve?
By chemical compatibility with the specific media - PTFE and carbon-filled PTFE seats handle a broad range of aggressive chemicals; Viton or Buna-N seals are chosen based on the exact fluid and temperature. Tell us the media and we’ll spec accordingly.
